We are currently pricing by piece, and factors include size, color and detail level.
Price quotes are good for 90 days from the date given.
Please contact us directly for price quotes, consults or to request a session.
In order to book an appointment and begin the process of drawing a custom creation, we require a deposit of 25% of the estimated price of the tattoo up front, or $50 for any tattoo price of $200 or less.
DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. When a client reserves a session, we allocate resources, plan schedules, & invest time in designing the artwork to ensure a safe, unique & personalized experience. If a client is unable to complete their session (or the artist refuses service as described below), the deposit helps offset these costs & compensates for the time spent.
If a deposit is given, a design is provided, and a new consultation is needed (which is determined at the artist's discretion), client must attend the new consultation. If client no shows or cancels the new consultation without rescheduling, the deposit will not transfer, and any future sessions will require a new deposit. It is at the artist's discretion to continue to work with a client who no shows or cancels without intention of rescheduling.
This policy aims to enhance the quality and availability of our consultation services while minimizing disruptions caused by no-shows.
**1. Credit Card Requirement: **
- To book an in-studio or virtual consultation, clients are required to provide a valid credit card during the booking process. This credit card information will be securely stored.
**2. Free Consults: **
- In-studio & virtual consults will remain free of charge, & there will be no upfront fees for booking them.
**3. Cancellation Fee: **
- In the event of a no-show or a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled consultation, a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged to the client’s provided credit card. Any deposits given for a tattoo session will be forfeit and non-transferable.
**4. Cancellation Fee Waiver: **
- The cancellation fee may be waived under exceptional circumstances, such as emergencies or unforeseen events, at our discretion.
We will absolutely work with you if you need to reschedule or cancel within 24 hours, but we need effective communication to do so! If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
While we do our best to accommodate our clients, our tattoo artists reserve the right to reschedule your session if you are more than 15 minutes behind schedule. This policy is in place to honor the time of both our clients and our artists. Additionally, being repeatedly late may lead to the cancellation of your session without the ability to reschedule, and any deposits given will be forfeit and non-transferable.
We reserve the right to decline service under ANY circumstances, as deemed necessary by the artist(s) or manager, as we prioritize the well-being of our clients and staff. This includes (but is not limited to):
**Illness: ** Clients who are currently ill, as tattooing during illness can compromise healing and pose health risks. This includes acute or chronic illness. Please be sure to list any illness or ongoing health issue in your session request or consult and reach out to reschedule prior to your session if you become ill.
**Broken Bones/Injuries: ** Clients with broken bones or significant injuries may be declined service due to potential discomfort and interference with the tattooing and healing process. Please let your artist know prior to scheduling your session if you are recovering from a broken bone or injury, and please contact us to reschedule your session should an injury or broken bone occur after booking.
**Active Antibiotics Usage: ** Tattooing on skin affected by antibiotics may hinder proper healing, leading us to decline service. If you begin an antibiotic regimen prior to your session, please contact us to reschedule.
**Poor Behavior: ** We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Clients or their guests displaying inappropriate, rude or aggressive behavior will be refused service.
Please note that deposits for tattoo appointments are non-refundable, and refusal of service may also negate the ability to reschedule - this is also at the artist's discretion.
Currently, we are not booking tattoo sessions for the following body locations:
Fingers
Palms
Feet (including soles)
Outer Reproductive Parts
Placement at top of hands and faces will be considered on a case by case basis.
Tattoo touch-ups will be evaluated on an as-needed basis and priced at a lower rate than our standard tattoo fees. Additionally, from time to time, our artist may choose to offer complimentary touch-up sessions at their discretion. Your satisfaction with your tattoo is our priority, and we aim to ensure your ink remains vibrant and pristine over time.
We will assess minor tattoos individually, starting from a minimum age of 17. An in-studio consultation is required for minors, and whether to proceed with the design will be up to the artist’s discretion. Legal guardians of the minor must prove their status with documentation and provide notarized consent. They will also be requred to attend the tattoo session(s).
Any custom design that is created by Liquid Color Tattoo Studios(“LCS”) is intentional, original and subject to copyright protection. Additionally, any art that is not created by LCS is subject to copyright protection for the artist that created it. It is our intention to create original works or works inspired by references, not an exact duplicate of someone else's art. Therefore, if you bring a design to be tattooed without any modifications or customization, you must have written consent from the original artist to use it.
The building entrance is located on the street level (east side) of College Ave, by Fat Shack and Rivalry Barbershop.
Paid parking is available in the lot directly south of the building; purchase by scanning the QR code at the entrance. Free parking on Plum St & Laurel St is available for 2 hours. Currently, there is no parking in the garage.
Please do not drink, use recreational drugs, and limit or eliminate caffeine at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Even a very small amount of alcohol, drugs, or caffeine can affect how much you bleed during the session & how well it will heal. We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you have decided to imbibe or alter your state of consciousness. If you are concerned about fear or pain management, please reach out!
Start drinking lots of water at least one week prior to your session - hydrated skin is happy skin and will accept the tattoo better & heal more quickly!
Make sure you have eaten (lightly if you have a sensitive stomach) and are well hydrated before your appointment. You are welcome to bring a drink and snack with you; I take breaks throughout our session so you will have the opportunity to recharge.
You can take Tylenol 30-45 minutes prior to your session to reduce pain & swelling. Please check with us regarding numbing creams & do not use them without first speaking with your artist.
We will shave the body area being tattooed at your appointment. Please do not feel embarrassed or uncomfortable about any body hair you have - no judgment!
It’s always good to make sure your skin is in great shape prior to our session, but please do not put lotion, cream, self-tanner, or oil on the area the day of your session.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing that can potentially be stained. We have pillows for your session, and you are more than welcome to bring a blanket, pillow, and/or a stuffed animal if it helps you feel secure and calm. No judgment!
You can also bring a support person with you (as long as current health regulations allow it), provided they are kind, respectful and supportive.
Due to bloodborne pathogen regulations, pets (including service and support animals) cannot be in the procedure area of the studio.
Please reach out and reschedule our appointment if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid or any other contagious illness (i.e. flu, colds, RSV, strep throat, the funk, etc.) It’s important that you are healthy to allow the tattoo to heal well.
Please also be aware that your artist may need to reschedule your session for illness, family illness or other situations; we apologize for the inconvenience & appreciate your flexibility.
Please reach out to us if you have any other questions!
How you take care of your tattoo will greatly determine how it heals and looks in the future, as well as help you avoid unnecessary pain and possible infection. It is considered permanent and must be cared for appropriately. For best results, please follow the instructions below:
Wear the bandage received after the appointment for 24 hours. After 24 hours, remove it (a very warm compress for 10 mins or a very warm shower can help with easier removal), and gently wash the tattoo with clean hands and a mild, unscented soap (glycerin soap, castile soap or any other gentle, fragrance-free soap is recommended). Do not use a washcloth or loofah.
Pat dry gently, apply a very thin layer of the provided silver hydro-wound gel (if no allergies are present), and re-apply the second, new bandage received from your tattoo artist. Leave this bandage on for the next 4-5 days.
After you remove the second bandage, gently wash the area, and reapply silver hydro-wound gel 1-2 times a day for the next 1-2 days.
After this, continue to monitor your skin’s moisture levels and apply a cream, (Vaseline, A&D, or Aquaphor), lotion (Cere-Ve, Eucerin), or body oil (vitamin e, coconut oil, shea butter, etc.) as needed for the next 3-5 days. You know your skin best, so choose a product that is gentle, non-comedogenic and well-tolerated by your skin.
Take care to apply a THIN layer (more is not better), and try not to let the tattoo dry out, as this may become uncomfortable and lead to additional scabbing, flaking, peeling, and itching.
If any redness, irritation, hives, pimples, bumps or other skin condition develop while using an aftercare product, discontinue all use immediately and monitor skin. Reach out to your medical provider for assistance if issue continues.
Please consult with your tattoo provider about the aftercare product you intend to use. Be advised that not using an aftercare ointment, lotion or oil could lead to irritation, unnecessary scabbing, falling out of applied ink, and other healing issues.
You may start to see scabbing on the tattoo after bandage removal. DO NOT PICK SCABS! This could cause the tattoo to bleed and could pull ink out of the skin. Continue to apply tattoo ointment but reduce how often it is applied to allow the scabs to heal. Consider switching back to silver hydro-wound gel or another product design to assist with wound healing.
Consult your medical practitioner for further recommendations.
Avoid using body wash, lotions or shampoos that have fragrances.
Do not swim or go into a hot tub for at least two weeks after receiving the tattoo. Avoid extremely hot showers or baths.
Use clean bed linens and bath towels throughout the healing period. Do not sleep with animals while the tattoo is healing.
Avoid exposing the tattoo directly to the sun. Also avoid tanning beds, extreme activity and self-tanning lotions for two weeks after your session.
Wear loose clothing over the tattoo while it is healing to avoid irritation.
After the tattoo has fully healed (typically 2-3 weeks after the final appointment), it is recommended that sunscreen be applied if going outdoors to help preserve color and delay fading.
It is normal to have some redness, irritation, oozing, swelling and/or scabbing for up to a week after the appointment. If you experience abnormal symptoms, such as extreme pain, swelling or redness that increases after the first 24-48 hours, fever, red streaking, and/or pus, please contact your physician immediately.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your tattoo provider.
If you feel you need to seek medical attention, do so promptly and without hesitation.
